I am a computer engineer specialized in distributed visualization and computing. I received a PhD in computer engineering and computer science 2006 from University of California, Irvine. While I was working for the PhD, my focus was real-time distributed computing and visualization. I developed the display wall software technology called ‘TileViewer’ which was the software that drove the world highest resolution display wall at that time, HIPerWall. My PhD research work fundamentally made the HIPerWall project a success. After graduation, I started working as a post-doctoral researcher again for HIPerWall in California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (CalIT2) at UC Irvine. The focus was upgrading the base technology I had developed for HIPerWall into more generalized/commercialized technology. In 2008, I co-founded Hiperwall, inc, the university spin-off company, with Dr. Stephen Jenks (Co-PI of HIPerWall project) and Jeff Greenberg. Since 2010, I am serving as a board member and Chief Technology Officer in Hiperwall, inc.
